Jaguar Land Rover cyber attack halts UK production as staff told to stay home

Jaguar Land Rover has shut down production at its UK plants after a cyber attack crippled global IT systems. A group linked to Scattered Spider, ShinyHunters and Lapsus$ claims responsibility and is attempting extortion. JLR says there’s no evidence customer data was stolen. The stoppage affects around 1,000 cars a day and will delay deliveries and repairs, with no restart date given.
